I started doing henna because my eldest daughter had a fetish when it came to drawing on herself. I know they say markers and such are non-toxic, but it still worried me that she was constantly covered in magic marker. SO… we made a deal. I would learn how to do henna and give her a tattoo whenever she wanted… and she would stop using markers.
After that… of course… I was hooked.
These are a few pictures of the type of henna that you can get from the experts… this is what I aspire too…
I’d love to give credit to the artists, except this is off a straight google search so aside from the one that’s labelled…i’m not sure who the artist is. It definitely isn’t me…
These are a few of my attempts… I’ll add to them as I go. If you followed the link on the ABOUT page, I have done a few tutorials on YouTube. I think my main issue is the flow of the henna itself, the smoothness of the lines makes a huge difference…
